Terms of Service

By downloading or using Gratitude Journal Diary ("the app"), published by Flit Soft, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

The app lets you write down moments you are grateful for, tag them with a mood, attach photographs to them, look back over them by day and over time, talk them through with an AI companion called the Focus Room, and — if you choose to — share individual entries with friends and keep a shared streak.

You need an account to use the app, and you are responsible for keeping access to it secure. One account is for one person. Tell us promptly if you believe someone else has got into your account.

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.

The entries and photographs you write and upload remain yours. We claim no ownership of them.

You grant us only the permission we need to run the service for you: to store your entries and images, to display them back to you inside the app, to send the text of your own entries and messages to our AI provider when you use the Focus Room, and to show an entry to other members when you have chosen to share it. That permission ends when you delete the content or your account.

You confirm that you have the right to upload what you upload. Do not upload photographs of other people without their agreement, and do not post anything unlawful, hateful, sexually explicit, or infringing on someone else's rights.

The Focus Room is a reflective writing companion powered by a generative AI model. It is not a therapist, a counsellor, a doctor or a crisis service, and nothing it says is medical advice, a diagnosis or a treatment plan.

If you are in danger or thinking of harming yourself, contact your local emergency number or a crisis helpline and talk to a person. The app will show you helpline information when a message looks like it may signal danger, but that screening is not a substitute for help and can miss things.

AI replies can be wrong, can misread what you meant, and can quote your own entries back out of context. Use your own judgement.

The Focus Room is limited to 60 messages per account per day. We may change this limit.

Sharing an entry is always your deliberate choice, entry by entry, and you decide each time whether it carries your name or is anonymous. Anything you post can be seen, liked and commented on by the members it is shared with, so post accordingly.

Be decent to other members. Do not harass, impersonate, threaten or spam anyone, and do not post another person's private information. You can block a member, and you can report a post or a comment; we may remove content and suspend accounts that breach these terms.

There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behaviour. We review every report within 24 hours, remove content that breaches these terms, and remove the member who posted it where the breach warrants it. Blocking a member takes effect for you immediately and does not wait on that review.

Do not attempt to break, overload, reverse-engineer or gain unauthorised access to the app or its backend. Do not use the app to build a competing dataset or to resell access. Do not use automated means to bypass the message limits.

API keys you create inside the app are for your own use with your own data. Do not share them.

The app is provided free of charge and is offered as it is. We do not promise it will always be available, that the Focus Room will always answer, or that it will be free of errors. We may change, suspend or discontinue features.

The app depends on third-party services — authentication, storage, database hosting and an AI provider. An outage at any of them can stop parts of the app from working.

To the fullest extent the law allows, Flit Soft is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the app, including loss of entries, loss of images, or decisions you made on the basis of something the Focus Room said.

Keep your own copies of anything that matters to you.

You can delete your account at any time from the account settings screen; deletion is permanent and removes your entries, images and records.

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms.

We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed, and continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
