Delete your account

You can do this yourself, from inside the app, without asking us. Here is exactly where the button is and exactly what it removes.

In the app

    Open Gratitude Journal Diary and sign in, if you are not already.

    Tap the Me tab, at the far right of the bottom bar.

  3. 3

    Tap “Data and account”.

  4. 4

    Tap “Delete account”.

  5. 5

    Confirm on the alert that appears. That is the point of no return.

What gets deleted

  • Your account and the profile details taken from your sign-in provider.
  • Every entry you wrote, with its text, its mood and its date.
  • Every photograph attached to an entry, and your profile photo.
  • Every Focus Room conversation, both your messages and the replies.
  • Every entry you shared, together with its likes and its comments, and every comment you left on somebody else's post.
  • Your friendships, your invites, your streak and your streak visibility setting.
  • Your reminder times, notification switches and quiet hours.
  • Every API key you created.

The stored image files are removed first, then the account record and everything attached to it.

This cannot be undone

There is no recycle bin and no grace period. Once the deletion runs, every entry you wrote and every photo attached to them are gone and we cannot bring them back. If there is something you want to keep, save it to your phone first.

Cannot get into the app?

If you have lost access to your device or your sign-in, email flitsoft.dev@gmail.com from the address on the account and ask us to delete it. We will confirm and complete the deletion within 30 days.
